Can't stop listening to this band. Their album is absolutely brilliant. No Ibiza-Summer-Anthem-and-Tune-of-the-Year kinda stuff, just a rock solid album that will grow on you for every listen.

Manel Manel Manel!

With Bonica just around the corner a bit of Catalan music seems appropriate. I really like these guys called Manel. A 100% fully certified Catalan band that likes to throw a bit of horns into the equation.

When I hear Al Mar I wish I was walking the streets of Barcelona again.



And the other week a new album was released. Same musical style and same effect (on me). I really have to go to Barcelona sometime soon.

Recharged!

After having recharged with Mrs. Bech for a while, it is time for some new music. Here's Raveonettes and their new single Recharge & Revolt from their upcoming fifth (or is it sixth?) album entitled Raven in the Grave. Pretty similar to their older stuff, which - to me - is a thumbs up!
